Low of Contract

A contract represents the law for participating parties, and enables realization of all business ideas and arrangements which the parties wished to accomplish. Under the rules of business conduct, relations between two or more parties involved in a contractual process should be regulated in a manner allowing both fulfilment of contract and sufficient level of protection to each party in case of dispute. Contractual relations are adjusted to the currently applicable law on contracts and torts, international treaties, customs regulations, and bylaws. In the process of drafting contracts, due attention is paid to common practices of state authorities, and views and opinions of competent ministries.
The Office has handled numerous cases related to failure in fulfilment of contractual obligations under Leasing Contracts, as well as other commercial arrangements, and some of them become the common practice of our commercial courts where a large number of verdicts entered directly into the practice of the Supreme Court.

Economic franchising is widely spread as a form of conducting commercial activities. Nowadays, franchising represents a business concept with inherent complex juridical relations.
A good franchising deal must be backed up by a contract that regulates relations between the provider and the recipient of franchising to the smallest detail. Deploying modern-day European and world experiences, the Office follows franchising companies operating not only in Serbia, but also on the territories of the United States, Austria, Spain, Russia, Ukraine and other former Soviet republics.

We process a whole range of specific contracts in the turnover of natural gas, chemicals, and metals, and upon consultation provide the best possible regulation of rights and obligations ensuring legal safety. Under the framework of the Law on contract, we regulate security of claims through all known means of collateral, from mortgage and pledge on movable assets to bills of exchange.

The activities of the office in the previous business year in this field were directed to:

Preparation of leasing contracts on purchase of automobiles for leasing business entities;
Preparation of leasing contracts on purchase of aircrafts, as the first contract of the kind in Serbia.
